The Working Capital Awards 2026
HOW TO ENTER
The 2026 Awards open for entries here on Monday, 30th March. the entry deadline is Friday, 25th September.
Entering the Working Capital Awards is free of charge.
For all entries, the judges will be looking for evidence of the success of your programme. This could be in the form of metrics such as DSO, DPO, NWC, or other tangible benefits such as cost savings over previous programmes, greater efficiency or increased satisfaction amongst suppliers or stakeholders.
You can submit an entry in more than one category, and there is no limit to the number of entries you can submit. Entries can be from any part of the world but must relate to a project that was active in the 12 months prior to 25th September.
Please note that these awards are for corporates. While we encourage banks, fintechs and service providers to support entries and be recognised as partners, it is the corporate that will collect the award.
Best Integrated Working Capital Project
Does your working capital project use multiple ‘levers’ to reach your goal? If your solution combines several techniques such as dynamic discounting, tighter credit management or inventory finance, this is the category to enter.
Best use of Supply Chain Finance
If you are freeing up cash trapped in your supply chain and/or offering early payment to suppliers, this is your category.
Best use of Receivables Finance
If you’re raising finance based on your receivables, whether with recourse or non-recourse, this is where you should enter.
Best use of Payables Finance
This is the specialist category for dynamic discounting, reverse factoring, confirming and other forms of payables financing.
Best use of Inventory management or finance
If you are freeing up cash locked in inventory, whatever the balance sheet treatment, this category is for you.
Best Cash forecasting initiative
Cash forecasting is the backbone of any working capital initiative. This category rewards great examples of improved cash forecasting.
Best ESG Working Capital Initiative
Does your working capital or SCF programme reward good corporate citizenship, support minority-owned businesses or have a sustainability element? This is your category.
Best Working Capital funding solution
This category aims to recognise working capital programmes that bring together multiple funders or demonstrate innovation in their funding structures.
Best use of technology for a working capital project
Are you using a working capital platform to support your working capital goals? We want to know about it.
Best working capital improvement project in a PE portfolio company
This category recognises the unique benefits of working capital optimisation in private equity-owned businesses or PortCos. The entry can cover any combination of activities which result in an improvement in working capital metrics and, ultimately, greater shareholder value.
